1dice carrots
2sort and rinse lentils
3dice celery
4chop onion as fine as you like
5add minced garlic
6add salt
7Mix all ingredients in a medium pot and add about 4 to 5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cook for about 20 to 30 minutes covered with lid tilted. When finished pour half of soup in blender and puree. Mix puree back in to pot. cool and serve
