Cut butter into pieces and place in 9" round cake pan. Place pan in oven and turn oven on to preheat to 425 degrees.

In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

In a food processor or blender, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla until well combined. Add flour and mix well.

When oven is preheated and butter is melted, remove pan from oven and pour in batter. Sprinkle top of batter with sugar and cinnamon mixture and return to oven.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until set and golden brown. Then remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Cut into pieces and serve with syrup or fruit.
