First, take sausage out of the casing. Brown until thoroughly cooked.

Mix the ricotta, egg, garlic, and half of the mozzarella together. Set aside.

Next, cook the tomatoes in a large pot with the basil until the tomatoes soften. Set aside.

In a large baking pan, spread some of the sauce on the bottom and place the cooked noodles on top. Layer with the cheese mixture and then the turkey. Cover with 1/3 of the sauce. Repeat until noodles have been used. Top with remaining sauce and then mozzarella cheese.
