Recipe Description I love having waffles in the morning before breakfast. These freeze really well and I can just pop them in the toaster before school. Since they are so wholesome, I don't feel guilty about using syrup AND whipped cream. But they are great with plain yogurt and fruit as well!

1Whisk together the eggs, vanilla, milk and applesauce. Beat in flours, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, oatmeal and wheat germ until batter is smooth.
2Heat a waffle iron on medium-high heat and coat with cooking spray. Cook until waffles are desired done-ness (should be golden brown.)
