grease large baking pan. combine oats,coconut,sunflower seeds,sesame seeds and nuts in a large baking pan.

Bake in a 300 degree oven for 20 minutes stirring twice.

in a small saucepan combine butter, brown sugar and honey. Bring to a simmer. Take pan off the heat and add vanilla.

Add wheatgerm to pan. Pour butter mixture over oats and stir well.

Change oven to 350 degrees and return to oven for 5 minutes.

Add dates and bake for 5 more minutes until golden brown.

Let cool completely and break up to put in a well sealed container
