In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat together sugar, eggs, and butter on medium speed. Add bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

Gradually add flour mixture to banana mixture, beating after each addition. Batter will be thick. Fold in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely and cut into 16 pieces.
