Rinse rice in cold water and boil in 4 c. water for 10 minutes.

Saute chopped onion in 2 tbsp. olive oil or butter

place onions and wild rice in large casserole dish with barley. stir.

Add vegetables to top of grains

Pour apple juice and broth on top.

Cover tightly with aluminum foil or lid and bake at 375 for one hour or until vegetables are tender.
