1Mix all dry ingredients, excpet baking soda. Separately, crumble butter into eggs and milk mixture. Add baking soda. Mix wet and dry ingredients together andbake x 1 hr at 350. Options: I add more raisins (up to another cup!) and I might throw in another bit of milk. I also split this into two portions and bake it in smaller baking pans for less time (until knife comes out clean). I want to avoid the dryness that can happen with bread and these seem to work well.
