Rusk is similar to biscoti. You bake it for 45 minutes then dry it out in the oven for 5 more hours. used as a quick on the go breakfast. Simply dip in a hot cup coffee

Mix self Raising flour, wheat germ together in a large bowl.

Add salt to it and mix well.

Meanwhile, melt butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a seperate bowl in the microwave.

Add the Buttermilk to the butter mixture and stir.

Slowly add the flour mixture and the butter mixture and mix well.

Put in large deep oven pan and press flat.

Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.

Remove from oven and cut in 24 pieces.

Let it cool down then seperate the pieces.

Heat oven to 190F.

Place Rusks directly onto the wire racks into the oven.

Let in dry out in the oven for 5 more hours.
