This is my solution to eating a healthy well rounded hot meal during the winters in New York City. Fresh vegetables, lean chicken meat and black beans for fiber.

clean and chop the cabbage to edible size pieces and set aside

trim fat and cube all 3 breasts. Set aside

chop onions and put in large pan.

add garlic to pan

add olive oil and cook onions and garlic until golden brown.

add small amount of water to pan to de-glaze the pan and add the chicken and cook until done.

clean and trim the fresh green beans and the carrots to the pan with just about 2-4 cups of water depending on liquid you like your soup.
