A delicious, lower fat granola with tons of Omega-3's and antioxidants. It smells like the holidays when it cooks and makes a great gift. Up the spices in the recipe for even more chai flavor.
Mix all ingredients except dried fruit in a large mixing bowl with a silicon spatula. Spread evenly along 2 baking sheets lined with foil. In a 300 degree oven, bake 15 minutes, then flip and stir granola, then bake additional 10 minutes. Cool granola on the pans, then mix in chopped fruit. Stores very well.
