Steps
Sequence Step
1Defrost liver.
2Dredge liver in flour and pepper on wax paper for easy cleanup.
3Slice the onion.
4Melt butter over medium heat.
5Saute onions until soft then remove from pan.
6Fry liver until no more red shows. (approximately 5 minutes)
7Melt in the 1 Tablespoon of butter in the drippings.
8Stir in the 2 Tablespoons of flour until well mixed.
9Add 1 cup water all at once.
10Stir over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
11Simmer 1 minute.
12Serve.
