Melt the butter and saute''the onion in it until golden. Add Zucchini and saute''until limp. (About 10 minutes)

Add chicken broth, salt and pepper and nutmeg. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes then add the half and half.

Puree the broth mixture in a blender or with a stick blender. Refrigeratefor several hours to blend the flavors. serve hot or cold.
