cupflour unbleached

cupscup whole milk 2%

Steps
Sequence Step
1Cover chopped vegetables with chicken broth.
2Simmer until veggies are soft, about 10-12 minutes.
3In separate pan, melt butter, add flour and stir to cook.Add milk and blend to form white sauce.
4Add white sauce to big pot.
5Stir in spices...parsley, paprika. (Add salt and pepper to taste, if desired...check for saltiness first)
6Blend with immersion blender in pot, or remove to blender to process until smooth.
7Add a few whole florets to pot for texture and cook another 20-30 minutes to desired thickness.
