| 1 | Dissolve dry pack yeast in warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes. | 2 | Blend flour, salt, sugar in large bowl with shortening. | 3 | Add yeast water to dry ingredients in bowl. Mix well. | 4 | Turn mixture out onto floured surface and knead a few minutes. Dough will be elastic. | 5 | Roll out to size of cookie sheet. | 6 | Place dough onto lightly greased sheet. | 7 | Place in warm (200 degree) oven for 15 minutes. | 8 | Remove from oven. Raise heat to 400 degrees. | 9 | Brush the warm dough with olive oil. Add pizza sauce, cheeses and veggie toppings. | 10 | Sprinkle with dried oregano, to taste, if desired. | 11 | Bake pizza in pre-heated 400 degree oven till cheese is melted. About 10 minutes. |
