In a large sauce pan, saute onion in butter.

Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.

Slowly pour in broth, stirring constantly.

Bring to a boil.

Add potatoes, pepper and salt.

Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender (about 15 minutes).

While potatoes are simmering, cook chicken and dice.

Once potatoes are tender, increase heat to a boil.

Add chicken, broccoli, milk and corn.

Cook another 2 to 3 minutes until soup is thoroughly heated.
