Steps
Sequence Step
1In a large sauce pan, saute onion in butter.
2Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
3Slowly pour in broth, stirring constantly.
4Bring to a boil.
5Add potatoes, pepper and salt.
6Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender (about 15 minutes).
7While potatoes are simmering, cook chicken and dice.
8Once potatoes are tender, increase heat to a boil.
9Add chicken, broccoli, milk and corn.
10Cook another 2 to 3 minutes until soup is thoroughly heated.
