Steps
Sequence Step
1Cook penne and drain. Put into a shallow baking dish
2Stir in the squash, red pepper, and scallions.
3Sprinkle on cheddar cheese.
4Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Make a white sauce by melting margarine and whisking in flour until it begins to turn beige. Then whisk in milk and bring to a boil.
5Stir in spices.
6Pour sauce over pasta. Bake 30 minutes.
