Steps
Sequence Step
1In a glass or non metalic bowl add the sour dough staarter sugar warm water and sugar, mix together and allow to work until bubbley.
2Add the flour to the sour dough mixture a cup at a time and stir until to stiff to stir any longer, dump remaining flour on clean hard surface and plop the dough onto it, cover hands and top of dough with flour and start kneading for 15 minutes, add tiny amounts of dusting to kneading process if necessary.
3Shape dough into a ball and put in a plastic container with a lid or a glass bowl with plastic wrap cover, and let rise until double, may take a while, sour dough has a mind of it''s own. When doubled punch down, divide in two parts and let rise free form or in non metallic bread pans or round cake pans cover with platic wrap sprayed with vegetable spray and let rise again until double. Again this may take a while.
4Pre heat oven to 425 and bake bread for 35 minutes.
