In a large pot, heat oil and saute vegetables until soft.

Add spices and salt and stir for 1 minute.

Add meat and liquid and bring to a simmer, stirring often.

Stir cornstarch in with the reserved corn liquid, and stir into chili.

Add beans, sour cream and cheese and stir for 1 minute or until cheese is melted.

Bring back to simmer and remove from heat.
