Microwave onion, celery, green pepper, carrots and browned sausage with 1 cup of water for 6 minutes, covered. Add rice to sausage mixture along with all remaining ingredients except almonds. Toast almonds in microwave for 3-4 minutes. Freeze mixture in a resealable bag with almonds attached in a separate resealable bag.

When thawed, place mixture in a casserole dish and sprinkle with toasted almonds. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
