This recipe was taken from one Rozanne Taylor who lived in Omaha, NE at the time. She titled it the "Best Wheat Bread Ever". It uses whole ground wheat and honey for an amazing loaf of bread that is especially good for toast.

Mix 1 Cup of Hot water with 1 Tbsp. Yeast and let sit for 10 min.

In your bread mixer, stir 2 Cups of hot water wit h salt, oil and honey.

Add 4 Cups whole wheat flour, yeast, and egg. Beat 5 min.

Add 2 Cups whole wheat flour. Mix Well.

Add 2-3 more Cups of flour and Knead for 5 min.

Let Rise until double. Then punch down.

Divide into 4 medium or 3 large loaves by rolling out 3-4 rectangles. Start at the short end and roll like a jelly-roll. Pinch ends to seal.

Place in pans and let rise until doubled in pans.

Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for about 35 minutes.
