In a medium sauce pan, boil water and first 6 ingredients for about 5 minutes. Mash the fruit with a potatoe masher or the back of a large spoon until it reaches the consistancy of very chunky apple sauce. Add oats and coot to package directions - add additional water as well if it seems to dry. Let stand 5 minutes.
