Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in pan and cook onion until soft. Add uncooked macaroni and stir to coat with butter.

Add 3 cups of cheese, all of milk and mustard (if liked). Stir to mix.

Sprinkle last cup of cheese over top.

Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour. Top will be golden brown and macaroni will absorb all the milk. Enjoy!
