Steps
Sequence Step
1saute: garlic, onion, shallot, pepper, zucchini until translucent and place in crock pot.
2add broth to pot and turn on high.
3add the rest of the ingredients.
4add water or broth as desired and season to taste (bay leaves, salt, cayenne pepper, thyme, garlic powder, etc.)
5cook on high for 1 hr. then reduce heat to low for remaining 30 minutes. serve hot.
