Large pan, brown meat in oil. Drain. Add water, broth, sherry, soy sauce, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cayenne. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour.

Stir mushrooms, carrots, and bok choy. Cover and simmer another 20 mins. Cook rice according to directions.

Divide rice among bowls 3/4 C in each and top each with 1 C of soup.
