dates, flax and chia meal in small bowl, cover with 1 c boiling water and let sit.

Whisk together flours, starch, spices, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.

puree date mixture. add rest of wet ingredients (nut milk, oil, etc) and continue to blend

add wet ingredients to flour mixture and mix just to incorporate. fold in diced pear and walnuts.

scoop into muffin tins (I use paper cups). Bake at 375 for 20-30 min. check them at 20.
