cupsTomato products, canned, sauce

largeOnion, chopped

medium slices (packed 20/lb)bacon

tablespoonschili powder

dashsalt, to taste

cups (8 fl oz)water
Steps
Sequence Step
1Sort beans disgard bad ones. Rinse and soak in water for 1hour.
2Drain beans from soaking water. In pressure cooker, saute onion, garlic and bacon until soft add beans, tomato sauce, water and seasonings. (add enough water to pressure cooker fill line)
3Cover and bring to boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
4Remove 2 cups cooked beans and smash, return to soup.
5Let cool and serve with a dollop of sour cream.
