1dissolve the yeast packet in 1/4 cup warm (about 105F) water, add 1 teaspoon of sugar to the yeast. stir until there are no lumps, let the yeast nom on the sugar for 10 min.
2combine ingredients in a bowl, knead for about 10 minutes until it prefers sticking to itself rather than you.
3dump on floured surface and cover, let it rest for about another 10 minutes.
4when times up, roll that blob of soon-to-be deliciousness into a rectangle, then fold and put into your handy bread pan. (you had that greased and ready ahead of time, right? yeah me neither.)
5cover and put in a warm spot for an hour. I used my very turned off oven. when it looks like a bread loaf instead of a blob, take off the cover, and crank that oven to about 375, and let if bake for about 30-35 min.
6I like to put about 1/4 tablespoon of butter on top just before baking. makes the crust all sorts of yummy.
