1in large mixing bowl wisk together flour, salt, baking powder
2add lard to four mixture, use fork or finger tips to mix together
3add buttermilk, mix with fork, roll dough out onto floured surface, fold and knead together 6 to 8 times, flatten out to 3/4 inch thick, form into biscuits by hand or use 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter.
4put biscuits on greased cookie sheet, bake in 400 deg pre-heated oven 10-15 min.
