Mix yeast, luke warm water, granulated sugar and salt. Let develop for 15 min.

Place flour in a bowl and make a well. Pour yeast mixture in well and begin to knead. Continue kneading while adding 1 egg and 2 Tbsp''s softened butter at a time (3 times). Continue to knead until mixed well.

Let dough rest in a bowl until doubled.

Gently mix in the pearl sugar and let rest for 15 min.

Heat waffle iron.

When hot, use butter to grease the waffle iron and pour in 3 Tbsp''s of batter per waffle.
