Steps
Sequence Step
1Put Butter and Sugar in bowl. Beat until light and fluffy.
2Add egg to sugar mixture, blend well.
3Sift together flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and baking soda.
4Add 1/2 of flour mixture to bowl with wet ingredients, mix on low.
5Add molasses. Blend well.
6Add rest of flour mixture. beat on low spead until blended.
7Cover bowl and refrigerate 1 hour
8preheat oven to 375 F
9Roll dough into 1 inch balls place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
10Let cool on sheet for 1 minute. Remove with pancake turner to wire cooling rack. Cool 15 minutes.
11Repeat until all dough has been used. Store in airtight container
