Steps
Sequence Step
1Oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 450 degrees.
3Melt 1/2 cup of butter.
4In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and 1 tsp. of garlic powder.
5Add melted butter, milk and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently, just until moistened. DO NOT over stir.
6Drop batter onto parchment lined rimmed baking sheet using cookie scooper. Bake the biscuits for 9 minutes.
7Meanwhile, stir together 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. Remove the biscuits from oven and generously but gently brush the tops of the half-baked biscuits with the garlic butter.
