Cut beef into cubes. In a dutch oven brown meat in a small amount of oil. Add in onions and garlic; cook until onions begin to soften. In a bowl, combine the remainging "sauce" ingredients. Add to the meat. Add broth. Stir and bring to a boil. You can turn to med-low and simmer on the stove top for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or put the dutch oven in the oven and cook at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours. *Using either method, uncover dutch oven for last 20 minutes to thicken the sauce. If sauce is not thick you can add a flour/butter mixture to thicken.
