11. In a large pot, heat olive oil on medium. Add carrot, celery and onion; saute until soft. Add garlic, saute for 1 minute.
22. Add chopped kale and saute until soft.
33. Add 3 cups of broth, 2 cups of beans, herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 5 minutes.
44. In a blender or food processor, mix the remaining beans and broth until smooth. Stir into soup to thicken. Simmer 15 minutes.
55. Ladle into bowls
