Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray oven proof dish with cooking spray.
2Combine 1/2 cup of shredded cheese with chopped green onions. Set aside.
3Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Cook whole asparagus stalks for 3-4 minutes until barely tender. Cool in cold water and pat dry. Cut into 1/4 inch pieces and place in a large bowl.
4Add milk, eggs, flour, carrots, onions and remaining cheese to bowl. Add herbs, salt and pepper. Stir well until combined.
5Pour into the prepared pan and place in hot oven for 40 minutes until golden and puffy.
6Remove from oven. Turn on broiler.
7Invert the Frittata onto oven proof serving tray . Sprinkle with cheese and green onions. Broil for a few minutes until cheese melts and bubbles slightly.
8Allow to cool for a few moments before serving.
