Recipe Description Great for the fall, but tasty any time of the year, I love making these pumpkin treats for Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Steps
Sequence Step
1Add oil to large mixing bowl.
2Add pumpkin to oil and mix till smooth.
3Add white and brown sugar. Mix until all the sugar is incorporated.
4Add egg, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Blend thoroughly. Preheat oven to 325 degrees (F).
5Slowly incorporate flour in half-cup increments. The dough (really more of a batter) will be very thick and sticky.
6Add cinnamon chips and mix well.
7Spoon cookie batter onto cookie sheet, spacing cookies about an inch apart. The recipe should make about two dozen cookies, more or less.
8Bake for 10-12 minutes.
