1Cook potatoes,carrots and green beans in lightly salted water, then drain and allow to cool.
2In a large bowl combine the onion, cabbage, and cooked cooled vegetables with 1 cup or slightly less of mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3Chill several hours before serving.
