Heat oil in a deep pot and combine onions, peppers, and garlic for 3-5 min.

Deglaze pan with broth and add tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans and stir to combine.

Season with cumin, chili powder, hot sauce, and salt.

Stir in refried beans to thicken chili.

Simmer over low heat for 5-10 min.

Serve with scallion, tomatoes and tortilla chips.
