Preheat Oven 350 degrees F
Line a muffin pan with 12 cupcake liners
Cupcakes
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and set aside
Mix milk and vanilla together and set aside
Cream sugar and butter for approx. 5 min
Add eggs 1 at a time, mix approx. 20 sec each
Alternate flour (in 3 parts) and milk (in 2 parts) starting and ending with flour
mix approx 1.5 minutes until all flour has been incorporated Scrape the side of bowl if needed
Fill liners 3/4 full
Bake 18-20 or until tester comes out clean
Let cook in pan for 2 minutes
Remove and cool completely on rack

ButterCream
Cream butter, meringue (egg white), salt and vanilla
Slowly add the confectioner''s sugar
Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until desired consistency has been reached
Frost cupcakes and enjoy!
