In a blender, combine the drained walnuts, garlic, lemon, vinegar, salt, pepper, and capers; add a little bit of the oil to start the blender. Then while the blender is running, add the remaining oil slowly to create an emulsion.

Add the romaine to the Kale and pour on the dressing and massage it into the salad

Dressing can be prepared and stored in the fridge for 5 days.
