Steps
Sequence Step
1Combine lentils and water over medium heat. Bring to boil, cover. Simmer until lentils are soft - aprox 20 minutes.
2Turn off heat and stir in bulgur. Let stand until water is absorbed and bulgur is soft. About 30 min.
3add olive oil and onions to pre-heated pan. Saute onions until they are translucent. add cumin and red pepper flakes. Cook for one more minute.
4Add onions, green onions, parsley and salt to lentil - bulgir mixture. set aside to cool.
5Puree red peppers, cayenne and 1/2 tsp salt in blender or food processor.
6pour pepper puree into skillet over med/high heat and bring to soft boil. Stir for aprox 5 minutes until puree darkens slightly.
7add pepper sauce to bulgur-lentils and mix.
8in each 12" wrap add 1 cup lentil mixture and 1/4 cup cabbage then roll up.
