1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2Mix together beef, salt, spaghetti sauce, and tomatoes; set aside. In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, and egg.
3Spread 2 cups of beef sauce in the bottom of 9x13 pan. Arrange 4 noodles lengthwise in a single layer. Place 5th noodle across end of pan, breaking it to fit dish; press noodles into sauce.
4Spread entire cheese mixture over noodles. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and top with 1 cup beef sauce. Arrange remaining noodles in a single layer; press lightly into sauce. Top with remaining beef sauce and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
5Bake for 45 minutes or until noodles are tender.
