1
Chop cabbage. Wash and drain in collander. Place in a pot. Turn stove on medium setting.
2
Add 1 8oz can of Hunts tomato sauce. Fill tomato sauce can with water, and add to pot. Basil-oregano is the type used.
3
Add 2 packets of Goya chicken bouillon powder packets, baby carrots, onions and peppers to pot. Stir.
4
Add 4 cups of water, and stir. Add cayenne pepper and crushed red pepper to taste.
5
Let soup start to boil for 5 minutes. Stir and turn to a simmer setting.
6
Add additional salt free seasonings to taste. Sea salt is a good option if a salt like taste is needed.
7
Once cabbage is tender, and other 2 cups of water (if desired). This may be needed as water is loss during boiling. The product should look like a soup.
8
Let simmer a few more minutes with added water.
9
Soup is now ready to consume.

If using a crockpot, add all items at once, stir, and let sit in crockpot to cook on 6hr setting.
