Recipe Description Simple, old recipe for a quick bread. Absolutely wonderful with soup or with lunchmeat/cheese plate. Don't use a light beer for this bread. Beer taste contributes to flavor of bread - use a pilsner for a smooth taste or a dark beer for heavier taste. Can also add herbs to taste.

1Mix flour and sugar together with a spoon.
2Pour beer in and stir just enough to combine. Do not over stir.
3Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
