Put the milk in a medium saucepan. Use more or less milk, depending on taste.

Open the can of tomato paste and add it to the milk. To get the remainder of the paste out of the can, add a little of the milk to it and stir it around, then pour it back in the pot.

Select the spices you would like to use and add ¼ to ½ teaspoon of each. The spices you eventually use depend on your own tastes, but try ground black pepper, garlic, celery seed or parsley. If you don''t like any spices, you can just add a dash of salt.

Heat the soup gently over a low flame, stirring it as it heats. Make sure the tomato paste breaks up and becomes incorporated into the milk. Once the soup is warm and well mixed, pour it into a bowl.
