Slice and caramelize onions. Set aside in large bowl.

Chop leeks and sauté. Add to bowl

Chop cabbage and saute. Add to bowl.

In medium stock pot add 1/2 stick butter over medium heat. When melted, add flour. Whisk into butter until no lumps.

Add 2 boxes chicken stock. Cover and let simmer over medium/low heat.

Add veggies 1/4 at a time to blender. Add 1 cup boiling stock. Pulse. Add to a large bowl. Finish pulsing all veggies and add to bowl.

Add pulsed veggies to stock. Add green peas. Add other half of stick putter. Stir in. Cover and let simmer until desired consitentcy.
