COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating each one well after each addition. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the morsels and nuts. Spread into greased 10x15 inch jelly roll pan.

BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Cool in pan or wire rack, then cut into bars
