add food colouring to pasta

break up and cook ground beef in an oiled pan

add butter to pot and melt

add flour and mix well, cook for a few minutes but do not brown.

remove from heat and allow to cool

return to heat and add the hot milk a little at a time stirring each time till smooth

add onion and simmer for 1 minute

add seasoning and any herbs or spices

divide sauce in to 6 different batches and lightly color with food coloring

drizzle sauce over pasta and sprinkle parmesan on top

delicately place spinach around edge of the plate

slice cucumber and place neatly over one another slightly

slice carrots in julienne strips very finely and place in batches on cucumber

slice onions thinly and place over julienned carrots

add cherry tomatoes around the plate
