I used neck bones instead of stew meat, seasoned with season salt and pepper then browned it in olive oil.

Remove meat

Put onions and mushrooms in hot pan and cook until they begin to soften. Make sure to scrap the bottom of the pan to clean it from browning the meat.

Add sweet potato, potatoes, and carrots stir together and cook until hot.

Add 10 cups of bouillon (i used cubes 5 chicken and 5 beef)

bring to a boil

remove to simmer and add the spinach

simmer for about 20 minutes (or until vegetables are done to your preference). Add the Barley cover and cook for about 10 minutes.
