I came across this recipe years ago, and I've tweaked it many times. The calories are not that low, but most of the ingredients are good for you, and the children loved it.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.

Combine oats, flours and wheat germ; gradually add to creamed mixture. Press into a greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan.

Chop the pecans. In a small bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add pecans and chocolate chips to the egg mixture, and spread evenly over crust.

Bake for 30-35 mins or until edges are golden brown. Cool on a wire rack, and cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
